April 18, 2015 - Floral nose with deep red fruit and light mint. On the palate, cranberry, saddle leather and grilled meat. Tasted 2004 through 2007 vintages of this wine. The 2004 benefited and needs a long decanting. The '04 was the biggest wine of the four.

5/9/15, 8:57 PM - Very timely note. Was considering to open my mag of this next weekend. So, it's still showing good structure? Thanks again for the note.

5/10/15, 7:20 AM - The 2004 is the most "Rhone-like" of the 4 vintages we tasted. It reminds me of a Chateauneuff du Pape. It is a dense, big wine that needs decanting. It begs for grilled meat, stew, or vegetables!
