Just an overall beautiful champagne and at pretty much at 4.5 years post disgorgement bang on the money. Very vibrant, good ripe fruit, rich but in balance, nice yeasty profile. It has an elegance that we do seek in champagne and this has been by far the best experience we have had with the VO. Very good! 94 easy and this disgorgement is to be had now.

5/31/15, 10:19 PM - Agreed. Only one comment. It is a stunning WINE ;-). Did you serve in a white Burgundy glass? We do. Really opens up the nose and palate.

6/1/15, 1:10 AM - We do nto believe in champagne flutes. The only thing we serve in them is beer which actually works very well. our favorite glass for good champagne is the Zaalto universal. :)

6/1/15, 1:40 AM - Excellent! We would have chosen their Burgundy glasses. We prefer beer out of a mug...albeit, we consider it a waste of our "alcohol" quota so we skip to wine ;-)

6/2/15, 10:23 PM - If you like "bubbles" and want to try a small, special producer, look for NV Penet Chardonnet Grand Cru Grand Reserve Brut Nature. A most excellent discover last night.
