June 7, 2015 - Developing, medium+ intense nose with aromas of gun powder, flint and tinder, roasted oak, freshly ground coffee, autolytic yeast, brioche, a bit of mushrooms, ripe citrus fruit and some toffee. Complex and delicate!

High acidity, dry but round with no apparent tartness or bitterness. High intensity, medium bodied with lively bubbles. A long, delicious finish.

This is outstanding! Was very impressed by the 1996 St. Vincent earlier this year, and I'm happy to see that it wasn't just an one off. Perfect (to my taste) Champagne nose and a well balanced palate with mature roundness supported by youthful intensity. Will probably keep for another 5-7 years, but why wait as it drinks beautifully right now!

6/26/15, 10:21 AM - Vi dricker den ikväll till förrätten. Fira att semestern börjat .

Det första jag skrev gällande doften var brödig, citrus, krut och kaffe.

Riktigt skoj att även 2000 levererade.
