  March 18, 2015 - An interesting artisinal project from this benchmark Tuscan producer: 100% sangiovese that's spent 12 months on the skins in local "orci" clay vessels. Yields a cherry, spicy sangiovese expression with the mealy, chalky tannins that are sometimes the product of amphora aged wines like this. Definitely worth a try if you can find it.
