  June 17, 2015 - Nice wine, yet not in the league of the 2000 version tasted along side. Classic Bordeaux with a regal edge, a fine wine with just a bit of a rustic dark black edge. Mature, although still likely to go a long way before being over the hill. Very nice, yet served blind, not sure I would have guessed a first growth. Fruits are of a dried variety and a tad tired, but don't get me wrong on any other night this would be an impressive wine. Wine is just showing its age. I think the competition tonight did not help (1998 Cheval Blanc, 2000 LMHB, 1998 Lafite, 2000 Latour)
