  June 20, 2015 - This wine has aged rather well! Sediment caked cork and bottle neck. Decanted thru funnel filter and poured immediately. Deep, dark, dense black-purple with dark fruit and leather nose. Heavy/medium bodied with fruit forward (black berry sauce and anise) impact on the front palate that quickly integrates with the nicely balanced tanins and heat. The beautiful flavor carries on thru a very long finish, ending with soft spice. Very well crafted. A little surprised to find this much fruit eight years after the harvest.
