July 12, 2015 - Deep ruby red color turning crimson at the rim with a transparent edge. The nose is very fragrant - giving off red and black berries scorched earth, tobacco leaves and dried herbs. The palate is full-bodied with a fleshy texture. Flavors of dark cherry, currants, plum, chocolate, meat, smoke, toasted oak and cigar box. Very round and elegant. Finishes with a hint of spice. Drink now until 2021.

9/5/15, 8:08 PM - We were traveling and picked up a bottle at a small wine shop in Montana. We own other Guigal Northern Rhones and this seemed to be a safe choice.

I liked your note among those recently posted. Found many of your comments to be consistent with our experience. Thanks for sharing.
