  July 19, 2015 - The 1990 Prüm Wehlener Sonnenuhr Auslese is in a superb place, bursting from the glass with a very complex and appealing bouquet of grilled apricot, honeysuckle, yellow plums and pineapple; as the wine opened up, the smoky apricot aromas that I identify with botrytis became more and more integrated, complemented by lovely herb and honeysuckle tones. On the palate, the wine is three-dimensional, concentrated and very fresh and bright—impeccably balanced. Great juice.
