  July 21, 2015 - A perfect wine to compliment a perfect meal!
  
  Deep ruby color, deep berry nose, a hint of a cinnamon and tobacco finish. This wine had a great body and maybe a hint of a blackberry.
  
  Went to a new French Steakhouse in my area. . .remarkable!! Our waiter suggested the wine but also suggested it decant for at least 30 to 45 min. While we waited we had Daiquiris with our appetizers of Oysters Bienville and Escargot. Once our Entree of Cote de Boeuf, Pommes Frite w/Bearnaise and Creamed Corn Gratin - the wine was perfect with the aged meat and the the cheese on the corn. As we savored it throughout the meal it opened up even more, could have easily decanted for 2 hours. A satiny mouthful of goodness!
  
  Finished off our night with a chocolate soufflé and a tawny Port!
