August 14, 2015 - Dark fruit; slight bricking at the rim; distinct forest floor and earthiness...only negative from my perspective was some slight 'drying' on the front of the palate and less depth than expected. Just didn't have a full mouthfeel

8/14/15, 10:37 PM - Thanks for your note and rating. We rated 93 and commented "Opaque, dark, ruby red. Nice wet forest (sous bois) with voluptuous dark red fruits. A body of immense stature. Excellent dirt throughout the palate, very tasty fruit with a hint of chocolate. Tres yummy. Still growing up, but glorious now. Great, long finish. A winner!!!" That "distinct forest floor and earthiness", we hope, will just become more pronounced over the next few years as we sip our last few bottles.
