  November 11, 2007 - opened for about hour, very expansive nose. Deep, dark wine that was thick looking. It looked and smelled like it was going to great. On the palate the heat and tannin was overwhelming...ther wasn't much stuffing under there either. This eased up slightly but not enough to get this over the top. As it's an '03 it may be in a transitional phase, it's about the right time for this to happen but this wine was all over the place. It was drinkable but not nearly what I expected. If the heat eases up and the wine comes together this will be a really good bottle of wine, if not I've got a case of plonk...I gave it a 90 because the individual components were solid, they just were not playing well together right now.
