August 22, 2015 - 4th of 12, perfect cork and fill, essentially as noted in June 2014, with same wonderful, aristocratic flavour profile, just slightly less energy to the fruit, so shaded the marking to same as for sensationally good Cos drunk the previous weekend....even so the Lafite is the better wine on potential (as it should be!). Very fine plus (19/20).

8/24/15, 4:33 AM - Thanks for your note and rating. Do you think it will lay down for quite a few more years? Or do you suggest sipping now? We have one bottle in the cellar and debating...thanks!

8/24/15, 6:49 AM - to respond to Buzzzzoff, if I had one bottle, I'd leave for 5 years or more. I like old (but not too old) claret with the extra nuance age brings, particularly to the bouquet. This wine is beautifully balanced, so I imagine it will improve for at least 20 years, but my cellar is cool and damp by normal standards.

8/24/15, 5:03 PM - Thanks, liber. Yes, we like the idea of letting it sit another 5 years or so to see where it goes, etc.
