  August 8, 2015 - Barolo from Traditional Producers (Portland, OR): Plenty of fruit shows on the nose, composed of apricots, raspberries, and dark cherries. This is supported by savory scents of seared beef. Dusty character shows quickly on the palate. Shortly, cranberry flavors with good acidity appear, accompanied by some rose flavors. Later good cherry flavors blend with tobacco. A bit of chocolate is evident on the finish. The fruit, savory elements, and structure are all showing great integration at this point.
