September 6, 2015 - My note of July this year says it all. Excellent but reaching the end of its plateau.

9/7/15, 9:12 AM - i've seen bottles of this vintage obtained from a number of different sources and the colour varies wildly/widely.. was the oxidized bottle a very deep gold? how about the good bottle?

9/7/15, 11:29 PM - The flawed bottle was indeed a deep gold with almost brown tints, whereas the good bottle was a clear pale yellow with green tints. I agree that the colour has been variable - but only 2 out of 27/36 drunk over the last three years have actually been significantly flawed to taste.
Might a modern screwcap have helped? This problem is endemic in many white Rhônes where I have long advocated the use of screwcaps.
