October 17, 2015 - Was a bit cradle robbing, i know... and also Think this bottle might be in a bit of a dumb phase, as it was not showing as well as the last bottle tasted, but did open up toward the end of the evening. Was very muted on both bouquet as well as mid and finish, but started after a few hours to show some great light and dark red fruit, and some good acidity, with a nose of candied cherries and some menthol notes... IMHO, just needs some time to integrate... would hold them for a bit, or make sure to give some good decanting.

10/22/15, 5:40 PM - How much "air-time" did it take to finally open up? Was there any formal decanting or PnP?
