  November 1, 2015 - Lean and fruity. I found it lacking structure and concentration. Almost sweet. I expected a bit more for the cost. I can see my opinion is an outlier but I wasn't alone in my opinion at our tasting.

  11/1/15, 7:47 AM - If you have any other bottles of this, leave them alone for another 5 years. Cadence just might not be your style, but they are agers. My 2010s are sleeping for several more years. If I did open one, I'd give it lots of air time.

  11/1/15, 9:23 AM - Thanks, I was quite surprised when I looked up the wine here and saw other scores. I live in Washington so do shop locally when I can. The wine didn't taste tight or at have any character where I'd suspect age helping. I actually just got a Sonic Decanter so did give it some time in that after the 1st glass. Part of my reaction was also the relatively high price. I definitely expect to be impressed over $40 but you may very well be correct in that it's just not my wine sweet spot.
