November 1, 2015 - This was a very good find from the Wine Society cellars in Montreuil. We opened this and a 2007 Chateau Talbot to have with our main course of duck with green olives. Both opened 4 hours before drinking and decanted the Paul Jaboulet (obvious sediment). A pale tawny edge reflects its age. The nose is not strong but fully developed and slightly spicy. The palate was one of 'mellowed aggression' - good body and intensity - cedar, white pepper, black fruits. This needed the time to develop and is now round and harmonious. Don't leave it much longer.
