November 1, 2015 - Rated a 91 for what the wine exhibited now, but when tasted at the winery March of 2015, scored 95 and was nipping at the heels of the 2010 HSS believe it or not. Color is consistent, but initial taste back in March brought vibrant blue to dark fruit flavor where as now the fruit is dusty and a bit all over the place. Low to no acidity is consistent with obvious and intrusive tannins.
The One Point Five usually comes alive within a year no matter the fruit source and expect this one will do the same. Will suprise once expectations are lower and "when" it performs as it did at the winery, a very good wine. Represents a value purchase IMO and those with multiple bottles should be rewarded in 9 months to a year.
