  November 4, 2015 - Nose is nutty, with pears and fallen apples (lactic rather than malic acid smells I guess). The nose nutty/pear features had me expecting a heavy dense mid palate, but instead, it was light as a feather, and almost effervescent Finish is light and refreshing. Not much acid in the finish, but doesn't need it with all the iightness. It gives the impression of a very low alcohol wine, and sure enough the bottle says 12%. Going back to the nose, it is like a cross between a white Rhône and a Normandy cider. Might be one of my first experiences with gringet, and certainly enjoyed this.
  
  P.S. Did best with a Riedel Chablis glass.
