November 11, 2015 - Compared to the monolithic 2010 and 2012s which will have a half-life of 1,300 years, the 07 is starting to unfurl to the point where it is not a shame to broach them now.
This is all crystal clear and linear with a very fine boned structure to it ,but still with some soupy cherry notes appearing from nowhere. Much leaner than previous vintages - especially the 1993 which was as black as night and infused from rock. Drink or hold. Great stuff.3 people found this helpful 4,091 views

11/11/15, 11:31 AM - Radioactive Cesium has a half life of just over 1,300 years. Am hoping that 2007 Burgundy as a whole drinks well in the short term.

11/12/15, 5:37 AM - 2007 wont make old bones, but I'd say if you get a good bottle (some of mine have been shut down hard) they are approachable now. Another 5 years will work some wonders on this but it is always destined to be merely very good rather than excellent.
