  November 27, 2015 - Popped and poured for a Scottish thanksgiving dinner (amongst other wines.) frankly I didn't like this at all. It is a massive, overly extracted brute of a wine. In the glass it's dark red/purple which reveals itself on the nose and palate. Lots of pencil shavings and forest fruits on the nose. But the palate is something different, buckets of fruit that leave your mouth puckered like having taken a hit from a boxer. I could barely manage my glass and didn't grab the bottle for a top up.
