Community Tasting Note

December 14, 2015 - This really turned itself around after a couple of days. Initially this showed a lot of fleshy fruit upfront with pulpy orange and yellow tones masking some of the more nuanced characteristics. After having been left open for two days this showed an intense focus and precision built on bright lime, kiwi, and yellow orchard fruit notes with an herbal and mineral band running through the backside. I'd give this some time for the fruit to dial back a little (3 - 5 years, 10??).

Good to very good. Scored 88 initially, 91 on day three.

1/4/16, 9:11 AM - Thanks for the note. I have the Alte Reben, but was considering some of this as a more casual pour.

1/4/16, 9:39 AM - The only thing about this is that it took it a while to come around. Looks like Salil had a similar experience with this one (different bottle).
