  December 19, 2015 - Medium ruby in color. Nose of black pepper, smoke and violet. Flavors of blue and red fruits, pepper, smoke and a bit of tar. This is a wild tannic beast. It is a taught and energetic wine, delicious now, but likely to age quite a while more. I love young Syrah, but wish I would have held off on this until 2017.
