December 27, 2015 - Surprising bright yellow (given all the premox these days, worrying). But no oxidation here! On the contrary, very reductive style (bit like Leflaive/Leroy), big nose, big wine, some green fruit skins, very citrus, only slightly mineral on finish. Would not guess at all as Chablis as it is so big, rich, reductive - more like very serious Chassagne 1e cru. Does not have the tight minerality of most top Chablis and perhaps the winemaking style rather overpowers the terroir, but as a glass of wine its impressive and delicious.
