  January 10, 2016 - Not sure, We are big fans of Monsier Serefin yet this 2002 was not the number we expected. Nicol tried it blind and thought it was a bit of a piedmontese wine, like a sweetish barbaresco. So not sure if time got the better of it (the 1999 is a beautiful one now - Papies 91) or maybe its a 2002 issue). Definitely not as austere as we find other 2002s, very nice and healthy fruit and touch of earthy feel. Shame on that "overly" at times sweet core and in way because of it lack of complexity. 89?
