  January 29, 2016 - From Magnum. Medium garnet. Expressive nose of red berries, sweet spices, with a hint of earth and wood in the background. Excellent complexity and pinocity. Elegant and aromatic on the palate with very fine structure. My last MG of this, bought it when it was still on the rise and relatively chap. Alas... another great Burg that has become very expensive. PS: I recently bumped into an old friend to whom I recommended this wine and he bought a few Magnums to store as 2002 was his wedding year. Needless to say, given the price rise he is now fully convinced of my vinous skills. :-)
