  January 30, 2016 - This was supposed to be a 2013 tasting event and somehow Poyferré had the wrong stuff sent out. Ha ha! Fair enough, if I were them, I wouldn't send out stuff that wasn't fully ready for scrutiny yet either. I mean, I'm sure it was an honest mistake. ;D In any case, I was happy to check out the '08, as I've had every vintage from the 2000s other than this one. And it didn't disappoint. Dusty mushroomy nose, rich meaty palate....portobello fabulousness.
  
  Btw she said if you have any of their '96 in your cellar, drink it now.
