  December 12, 2007 - I know 94 points raises some eyebrows but if you consider the price (under $11) then this port is a true knock out. When you pour the first glass the first impression is set by the brown and thin color and you begin to wonder if $11 was too much....but then the nose hits you and you realize looks may be deceiving. Take the first sip and you'll wish you'd bought a case. The flavors are huge and balanced between fruit, nuts, caramel, and the heat of the alcohol. So balanced in fact that you'll notice all of them working in conjunction without any taking center stage. The after taste is loooong and just as balanced. As a budget port drinker the DP30 represents something for me to be truly excited about.
