February 29, 2016 - Light Ruby. Balanced, with a nice touch of earth -- but overall a bit thin. I suppose we expected a bit more, based on the professional reviews. Still, quite nice over four nights.

3/1/16, 5:41 AM - Very valuable comment Deux as I just purchased and this will guide me. Did this get better as the days wore on?
This is a controversial wine because of the location blend confusing the sense of place.
Cheers. -

3/1/16, 6:35 AM - I find that youngish burgs can often be thin and shrill, but that they gain weight and the acids soften with age.
I've bought a few of these, but am not planning to start drinking them for another several years. -

3/1/16, 7:02 AM - Allen Meadows summed it up pretty well I think: "While this is presently backward it should be approachable after 6 to 8 years of bottle age though note that it should live for a very long time."

3/1/16, 7:41 AM - Hi all, Let's see if Allen is correct that this will come around or gain weight. We have one more (having bought 2 at K&L's original pre-arrival offer, made last year, at $55 -- rather higher than the recent offering, which is now sold out, I see). And CO, no, we didn't notice much positive development. -- Jake
