March 6, 2016 - Decanted 1 hour. Pretty big, pretty fruity and pretty good. Beautiful aromas of both red and black fruits. Great mouthfeel with completely resolved tannins. Fruit is starting to mature and not a lot of nuance, not sure if it will ever come with this wine. But very, very good now if your in the mood for a larger scaled wine. Paired great with sous vide New Yorkers. Last bottle and glad I cellared.

3/6/16, 8:55 AM - Thanks for the update. I will stand up one on death row. Was there a lot of sediment? How many more years does this have? Thanks again

3/6/16, 10:28 AM - Yes - lots of sediment after being on its side for 10+ years. Seems like it will last longer but I do not have any experience past the 15 year mark on Aussie shiraz. Fairly round now with resolved tannins though. I say drink now and enjoy!
