March 12, 2016 - Tasted at Oriental Food Restaurant, Kepong, Kuala Lumpur in Lucaris Ware.
The appearance of the wine is clear and pale lemon-green in colour with slight legs. On the nose it is clean with medium minus to medium intensity with character of white flower, green apple, lime, and mineral. Still developing. On the palate it is dry, with medium plus acidity, with low tannin and at a alcohol of 12%. It is medium body with medium flavour intensity. Flavours of grass, lime, grapefruit, green apple, mineral and finishes medium minus with refreshing acidity, perhaps a little too acidic, as mentioned on the bottle. Cool climate style Sauvignon Blanc. Commendable effort. Overall quality of the wine is good, ready to drink now and over the next 2-3 years.
