  March 19, 2016 - Huge, open nose of red fruits and herbs followed by an understand mid-palate with big aromatics built on a medium-weight base and with medium extraction, good acid backbone, and a shortish finish. A very nice and somewhat more elegant version of a classic, un-oaked southern French blend typical in the Cotes du Rhone, Languedoc Roussillon, Costiere de Nimes, etc., this is reputed to be a blend of Mourvedre, Grenache, Syrah in that order but the aromas and color are very much Grenache dominated. At US15/EU15 this is a good QPR.
