  April 9, 2016 - Still not at its apex. Which is impressive for a '10 now 6 years in. Inviting nose of lush berries draws you in. Is it me? Or do I taste a bit of cocoa here. Still has a lot of tannin and a fair amount of acidity but you can tell this will be great in a few more years. If you are going to pop it now, I'd have it with food just to round out the edges. It really needs to open for a bit as well so don't rush it...consider decanting. Glad we have a couple more to hold a bit longer.
