  April 16, 2016 - The bottle had great fill, B-stand, but the wine was "over the top" and tired. Good cork though.
  Dark brick colour. Lots of sediment.
  The nose was sherry like with a note of mushroom, forrest floor, japanese soy, caramel/brown sugar and bouillon.
  On the palate the wine performed like a dry low alcohol sherry ... with hints of bouillon/broth and soy.
  Some over ripe dark fruit of plum in the back. Good acidity, good mineral ... salty touch.
  
  But this wine passed its expiration date at least ten years ago.
  I wish I could've tried this wine 15 - 20 years ago.
  
  Still a fun bottle to try ...
