  May 1, 2016 - Nose spicy but somewhat closed. Palate shows lots of rich, dense Oregon pinot, with pepper the most dominant note. Smooth, silky quality. This could use a bit more time. It may improve for a year or two, but don't know if I would chance holding it a lot longer. The 2012 Archery Summit wines were among the very top wines I tasted in an extensive 2014 tasting trip in which I tried hundreds of Oregon pinots.
  Very nice pinot. It may lack the structure and complexity of top burgundies, but is very fine example of new world (Oregon) pinot.
