  May 1, 2016 - One of the more interesting roses under $20 i've had this season. Spicy, floral, but plenty of ripe fruit. Very characteristic of Cab Franc.
  
  medium body, zippy acid, and a long floral/spice finish. a little severe on opening but the fruit ripens with just a bit of air.
  
  Ripe and brambly strawberry, red currant, and melon on the tip of the tongue. Loads of white pepper, spring flowers, green herbs, and flinty minerality midpalate that carries through the long finish.
  
  the style isn't for everyone, but if you like Chinon, you'll dig this chinon rose.
