  May 5, 2016 - Black with ruby edges. Nose of black cherry, grilled meat, mushrooms, liquorice, earth, cassis. Very smooth medium-weight harmonious palate with alcohol and tannins completely absorbed. Tastes of black cherry, raspberry, strawberry, cassis, black liquorice, tobacco, spice, anise, sauerkraut. Not a hyper-concentrated bruiser, but on the fine side. Lots of depth, complexity and balance, with a lush structure. Peak drinking window right now.
