May 19, 2016 - Tasted blind after a night of lots of wine. It was hard to peg as Chardonnay. It was clearly new world and lacked a finish. In fairness, this was tasted against a Grand Cru white Burgundy.

5/21/16, 8:16 AM - You're right about it being tough to evaluate after a night of drinking. The wine is much more Chablis than GC WB. There's little to no oak, and a strong acidic finish. A great wine for starting the evening, but yeah, it would get crushed end of evening, particularly against GC that would cost 5x in price. If you have any others, try it as an aperitif.

5/21/16, 8:18 AM - very unfair comparison but blame the Somm at Rebelle for serving it blind against a 2006 BBM.

5/21/16, 8:22 AM - yeah, Joe Hirsch was there, that's why they served it blind against the big GC Burg.
