  May 21, 2016 - Beautiful vintage Portuguese red wine from the Alentejano region. Produced by Encostas de Estremoz this wine whilst powerful at 14.5% alcohol was wonderfully balanced and had repaid a decade of careful aging. Decanted before accompanying duck legs in an orange and port sauce. My father a lover of Portuguese red wine exclaimed it was the greatest red wine he had experienced from the country. Pity I only had the single bottle.
