June 21, 2016 - I think this 2008 really deviates from the typical Thomas profile. PNP: well made Oregon Pinot evolving into a blue fruit and anise profile which I haven't got from other Thomases - a Burgundian terroir aspect I don't associate with Oregon Pinot. After that some butterscotch emerged. Day 2: this wine picked up a lovely kirsch dimension. This is a complex, multidimensional evolving wine - amazing stuff! 95+
