  January 5, 2008 - Geyserville vertical. First of three vintages tasted. Better than my prior bottle a week earlier. Sweet cherry aromatics and palate. Nice pepper. Did not taste hot this time. Good acidity and length. Suffered only in comparison when tasted next to the 1997.
