  July 28, 2016 - Still quite a muted nose although yielding some subtle sweet dark fruit, liquorice, cranberry and wood. Great length and persistence, fine tannin that provides excellent structure, and superb quality of fruit complete the palate. Perhaps a little too much of everything at the moment and obviously way too young but it's still supple and creates an impression of balance and impressive quality. Try again in 5 years to check development but this is a 20-30 year wine. Outstanding.
