  July 30, 2016 - I was hesitant to open this, as I was pretty sure it was not really at peak. But, I have more, so what the hell. Not disappointed in the least, but I do wish I had decanted it longer (3 hrs was not nearly sufficient). That said, this did have great herb, tea, and oaky/spicy notes layered over dark cherry and leather. The tannins are in lovely balance, giving this great depth and, I believe, great aging potential. I would hold for 5+ yr before touching this.
