  August 19, 2016 - Kobalt is always my favorite! I am so happy that Coombsville finally got their recognition to be an official AVA. 2008 Kobalt is already at its prime. The nose is stuffed with lead pencil, dark berry, and candied fruits. On the palate, the tannin is quite mature, which provides a long lasting licorice. Other than that, the juicy wine and solid backbone make the whole wine in a total package. Love it. It should be drank in these five years.
