  August 22, 2016 - Should be a higher rated wine - textured, complex but silky smooth. Just learning Haut-Medoc, but impressed so far with taste and value.
  
  Sharing what I found online:
  The vineyard of Chateau Peyrabon has a terroir of sand, gravel, clay and limestone soils. The vineyard is planted to 60% Cabernet Sauvignon , 35% Merlot , 3% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot . On average, the vines are close to 25 years of age.
