September 15, 2016 - An exceptional bottle, drunk alongside an 1985 DP. A very nutty nose, Krug-like, to begin with which developed into a more complex, aromatic nose over time. Fresh and masculine in the mouth, with the DP sweetness coming out after 40 min or so. A long, spicy finish. Its slicing acidity made it difficult just to sip this wine, I wanted to gulp it down.
