May 16, 1997 - Lighter color and brighter fruit than her 69 NSG 1er and Echezeaux tasted earlier this year. Fragrant strawberry fruit with a touch of tartness, bright acidity, some earth and hints of spice. Nice medium length finish

9/21/16, 1:19 PM - Seth please note I was posting an old TN, that being said my experience with her wines is that the Volnay Santenots is generally lighter colored than any other of her premier crus, looks more like a Dujac wine. Hope this helps.
