September 20, 2016 - One of the strangest wines I have had. Is my first experience with an Australian wine. Full of strawberry and oak aromas. At first taste on the palate, it seems like an empty, child's wine, with no alcohol, strange sensation for me but very good. The finish is very soft and full of pepper. I'm thinking this needs to sit longer?

9/25/16, 7:11 AM - Definitely needs to sit longer, 2011 was a poor vintage for mclaren vale, 2012 was a good one. But the wine should still develop well.
