  January 19, 2008 - Took this wine to a Pops Concert so did not ability to decant. Nice and earthy, loads of berry and fig. The second half of the bottle was wonderful as it evolved. Did a side by side with an 01 Charvin CnP and the Guigal was softer and smoother. (The Charvin I believe will evolve very well over the next 3-5 years.) But the Guigal is wonderful now and ready to enjoy. This is a perfect match with a leg of lamb. It worked well with Ribs, Brisket and Sausage.
