  January 21, 2008 - Served a touch cold (straight out of cellar). Nose was soaring with cotton candy, the palate was a nice balance of red & black fruit. A big hit -- but about an hour in, shut down tight with the tannins becoming very pronounced. Woulda/shoulda waited another 18-24 months, but a nice little view into the other 05 Shea Estates, me thinks.
